Benefit Cosmetics

I'm not usually one for buy expensive makeup, because as a teenage girl, I really don't have the money to go and splash out on a Chanel lipstick. However, I must admit that I have a guilty pleasure for worldwide cosmetic brand, Benefit. Their luxury, top quality products attract all sorts of woman at all different ages.

Holding counters on the majority of large Boots stores as well as having some boutiques of their own, Benefit  cosmetics is  a brand you need to get your hands on! If you don't have a Boots or Benefit boutique near where you live, you can always check out their WEBSITE. Here are my top 3 Benefit products:

3) LEMON AID, £16.50 (picture credit to http://beautychic.net/tag/lemon-aid/)
This colour correcting eyelid primer really does brighten up your eyes, by minimizing dark circles and makes you look more awake. The great thing is you don't just have to use it on your eyes, I find that it's great to reduce the amount of redness on my cheeks and t-zone, meaning applying foundation is much easier.

2) HELLO FLAWLESS OXYGEN WOW! FOUNDATION, £24.50 (picture credit to http://www.musingsofamuse.com/)
This fabulous, light weight foundation is the best I've ever had. It comes in 9 different shades to suit all skin tones, I purchased it in the shade IVORY. It is the best foundation ever, in my opinion, and looks great over the Lemon Aid product- they're a match made in heaven. It's not a cheap product, but this liquid will last you a good while. I recommend you try it!

BADgal lash mascara
1)BADgal LASH MASCARA, £16.50 (picture credit to http://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk )
Wow, this product is amazing. It will easily give you sexy, thick, long, luscious lashes. It's not cheap, but it's really worth splurging out on this fab product. For best results, coat both sides of the lashes with the glossy substance to get amazing results. MUST HAVE!

The Olympics: London 2012

With the Olympics just around the corner, excitement is starting to mount up as the prospect of London hosting the games is finally dawning us Brits.

The opening ceremony that will take place on Friday will show the world what London has to offer, hopefully, it will show London in a positive light.

After years of planning, building and organising, the Olympic venues are finally ready to hold the world's best sporting names, from Usain Bolt to Our own home grown hero, Jessica Ennis.

Personally, I can't wait for the Olympics. I can't wait to devour over the male athletes huge muscles and watch numerous Brits gain gold medals. However, I have some questions I'm still unsure of the answers:
•will Yohan Blake beat Usain Bolt and repeat what he did at the Jamaican trials?
•can Mo Farah gain another athletics title?
•will Jessica Ennis keep her title and prove to the world what Britain has to offer?
•can Victoria Pendleton face her fears and gain victory in the velodrome?
•how many medals will British Chris Hoy win on his bike?
•will Rebecca Addlington live up to expectations and perform as well as she did in Beijing?
•has Michael Phellps got what it takes to win multiple medals in the pool?
•will Great Britain do their country proud and come top of the medals table?

All the questions are yet unanswered, but soon will be in the coming weeks as the Olympics take place. Let's hope the British team does us proud!!!!

New Look!

I've just spent over 1 hour re-designing my blog. I spent ages picking the perfect background and an eternity choosing the ideal title font. Hopefully, my hard work will have paid off and more people will follow my blog! Let's hope so!

It's still not completely finished, but I'm hoping my blog will soon be looking fab! I'm also going to try and post more over the summer, so look out for even more posts from me!

Summer 2k12

There has  been a lack of posting on my blog in the last few weeks. With school ending, test week and the start of summer all happening in a short space of time, it's safe to say I've been a very busy girl! Now that I'm on my summer holidays, I hope I will be able to do lots of posting!

I've taken lots of pictures over the first few weeks of summer, so here is my weeks of summer in photos:

Left: Trying out my new top with red lipstick on. Soon to become my Facebook profile picture.

Right: Going crazy with the camera whilst trying on my new top. Yes, I know I look stupid.

Left: Guide End of Term Leaving Party for me and my close friends- so emotional. Wearing the cutest dress Primark has ever produced.

Right: Deciding what to wear to the Yorkshire Show (which was cancelled in the end) Playsuit from Henry Holland.

Left: What I wore on the last day of school for a meal out with my best friends. Cutest top EVER!

Right: Nails that I did on Friday night. My besties and I all did each others nails. #cute

Left: A picture that my friend Lizzie took of me whilst we were getting ready at my house on Friday night before Wagamama's. Yep, I know I look silly cos I'm blinking but it was a fab night!

Right: A picture that my best friend Eunice took of my on the steps in Wagamama's restaurant. They do the nicest food ever!
Left: My new maxi skirt, which I am in LOVE with. A tenner from Primark, how can you go wrong?! Can't wait to wear this on my summer holiday!

Right: Cute day trip with the family to Scarborough at the weekend. It was so windy at country park in Filey! Fab day though!

Left: Took this picture right at the start of summer- my new top from H&M. I've barley taken this thing off, I totally love it!
